Program 01Weight

Sustainable weight care, written by clinicians — not by the pharmacy counter.

A clinician-led program organized around modern GLP-1 options, ongoing review, and one steady care thread. You’re reviewed first; the medication is chosen to fit you — not the other way around.

§ 02The program in plain terms

Most weight programs start at the pharmacy counter — or end there. We keep the clinician at the center, and treat medication as one tool in a longer plan. That is the whole point of Nuvora Weight.

What it is
A membership-based weight-care program with clinical review, appropriate GLP-1 prescribing, shipped care, and ongoing messaging with a named care team.
Who it's for
Adults seeking sustainable metabolic change, who want the relationship with the clinician to outlast any single prescription.
What it isn't
A pharmacy-first telehealth funnel. A subscription you forget. A promise that medication alone will do the work.
What you get
A reviewed plan, monthly shipments when appropriate, quarterly clinician check-ins, and unlimited messaging — on one steady thread.
§ 03By the numbers
Individual results vary. Not a substitute for a clinician visit.

§ 04How the program works

A clinician-first path, organized so you always know the next step.

01Assessment

A four-step online intake covers goals, history, and measurements. Most members finish on a phone in under five minutes.

No charge until approved
02Clinician review

A licensed provider reads your intake in full and decides whether a GLP-1 plan is appropriate. Not everyone is approved. That is by design.

Response within 24 hours
03Ship, check in, adjust

If approved, your plan ships discreetly. Your clinician remains in the thread — adjusting dose, answering questions, ordering labs.

Dr. M. Okafor, MD
Clinical director, Weight
“The medication is not the plan. The plan is the relationship — the monthly read, the small adjustment, the answered question on a Sunday. That’s the work. The medication is just one tool inside it.”

§ 05In their words

The quiet part, said plainly.

The first plan they sent me read like something a doctor actually wrote. Because it was.
Maren · Weight, week 14
I asked a question on a Sunday about a side effect. It got answered on a Sunday. By a person.
Jamal · Weight, week 6
They told me I wasn't a good fit for one medication, and suggested another path. I trusted them more because of it.

§ 06GLP-1 — questions answered

The GLP-1 questions, answered.

These are the questions your clinician will hear in your first few weeks. Honest answers now so fewer surprises later.

Clinical trials and our own member data show meaningful weight reduction at six and twelve months when paired with a written plan. Results vary, and maintenance — diet, sleep, movement — is an active part of the program, not an afterthought.
Nausea, constipation, and fatigue are the most reported — usually during the first weeks of a dose or after a dose increase. Your clinician will titrate slowly to minimize them and will adjust if they persist. Rare but serious effects are disclosed in the medical consent before prescribing.
Your clinician chooses based on your history, goals, and current supply. Options include compounded GLP-1 (injection or tablet) and, where appropriate and available, branded pens. The line item on the invoice is not the same as the plan — the plan is what your clinician writes.
Compounded options are cash-pay, HSA and FSA eligible. Branded medication may be covered by commercial insurance — we supply the documentation you need to file, but we are not in-network. Honest answer: most members pay out-of-pocket.
Weight regain is possible after stopping — this is a clinical reality, not a marketing line. Our program is designed around continuity: a taper when appropriate, a maintenance plan, and ongoing clinician support so the change outlasts the prescription.
Roughly one in four intakes is declined. Common reasons: a history of pancreatitis or medullary thyroid cancer, pregnancy, certain eating-disorder histories, or conditions that should be handled in-person first. If declined, your clinician will tell you why and suggest a clearer next step.
Think of it as a chronic-care program, not a sprint. Many members taper after 12–18 months once the behavior changes are solid; others stay on longer. Your clinician writes the exit plan when you're ready.
Yes — any month, for any reason. Pausing preserves your plan and your same clinician. Cancelling ends the subscription cleanly with no fee.
